Nope. The Nazis saw the zionist project as an attempt to create a Jewish base that would serve the Jewish plan to take over the world. They were very much against it from the start. And they allied with the Arabs against the British anyway, so support of zionism was out of the question.

Part of it was population size - because in the 19th century, the global Jewish population was much, much larger than the Palestinian Arab population. So the early zionists believed that if even a fraction of global Jewery moved to Palestine, they'd become a clear majority and that'd be that.

The idea of a "Jewish and democratic state" is about as logical as the idea of "Free Palestine as a democratic country". If a country can be democratic while being nationally Palestinian, then a country can also be democratic while being nationally Jewish.
