I have a couple of lovely driftwood pieces. Here is one in a similar style

Two coastal cottages, made of driftwood, sit side by side on a long piece of driftwood. At one side of a cottage there is a lamp post made from a nail and a needle felted tree. To the other side is a washing line, also made from nails, with two little towels on the line. There is also a bench and a post holding a lifebuoy

Out for an evening walk and spotted some caterpillars on a bunch of nettles. I think they might be Peacock caterpillars but not too sure. On the same walk on Sunday, we came across over 100 writhing caterpillars much bigger than these but I didn’t have my phone to photograph them

Ben Bhraggie is a hill in Sutherland in the Highlands, a famous landmark locally due to the 24ft statue of the Duke of Sutherland. He, along with his wife, played a large role in the highland clearances which saw people violently forced off land to make way for sheep #Scotland #Highlands

I started a new book yesterday, I just can’t shake my disappointment at the cover. On first appearances it looks ok, some men preparing or resting after battle, but if you look closely there is a random person wearing jeans and carrying a handbag in the bottom right corner 😂

Today marks 60 years since the community garden in Tain was opened. Sitting having coffee on one of the many benches and watching the bees and butterflies

Last year I did a little workshop on Lino cutting. We were asked to take in something that inspired us and of course I took a much loved photo of Ivor the Whippet. I’m not sure he would have fully approved but I love it!
