Went out today for one thing, ended up stopping for brunch at a creole restaurant, hit up several hobby shops, and found a record store that for once isn't selling the same 8 copies of a Ted Nugent album Because of that we bought their store's turntable mat that's our home's level of dorkass cringe
I'm relatively optimistic about the direction, and very optimistic about this specifically, because fuck yeah no AI There will be no perfect version, but I'm looking forward to seeing what will come of the next edition and may actually run it (unlike 5th which I just couldn't fully get into)
This sums up pretty well why the show continues to be interesting and why it's a little frustrating when criticism tends to be so reductive.
