They just put this woman (Misty Al-Mahdawi) who attacked me back in the cell with me and she already talking and swearing to her voices in her head. Can you call up here to get me (or her) moved?

She stabbed her first roommate, Sonya. Then she threatened to stab the roommate after me, Rosa, and she was honest and told the guards that she couldn't live with Rosa because she is fighting not to stab her.

She attacked me when I had the flu--that's why they moved me at 3am on July 2nd! Now she is standing in the cell, having complete one-sided conversations with voices begging them to leave her alone.

Please call up here and ask for Warden Miller at the Patrick O'Daniel unit in Gatesville and ask them to move one of us. Because I can't sleep in the cell with someone who attacked me when I last slept in the cell with them.

Scholarly research mostly ignores Black autistic individuals and experiences, especially Black autistic adults. This scholarly neglect "exacerbates the misconception that autism is inherently white." Our societal and cultural understandings of autism are largely exclusionary of people like OJ and Gregory, but the autistic coding of their characters is there to see for anyone who is willing to see it. And I see similar coding in Wonder Man.

Du Bois did not downplay the difficulties of working class solidarity across racial lines, not hesitating to note that most white workers could not conceive of blacks as fellow human beings—much less imagine solidarity with them. It would have taken more struggle and likely bloody conflict to protect and expand democratic gains after the Civil War. Yet, it was still a missed opportunity.
