I had the opportunity to hike the North Country Scenic National Trail up in Saxon, Wisconsin, which stretches 4,800 miles across eight states, and learn about recent land purchases and trail development. What a beautiful trail and great way to explore Wisconsin's Northwoods!

Healthcare, gas, utilities, groceries—everything is too darn expensive. And thanks to President Trump and Republicans' reckless policies, Wisconsin families are paying over $2,000 more this year alone. Outrageous.

We were glad to celebrate the Stockbridge-Munsee Community Band of Mohican Indians becoming the 11th and final federally recognized Tribe in Wisconsin to install dual-language signs. These signs tell the story of our state, and we are thrilled in this program's success.

We're building the 21st-century infrastructure Wisconsin needs and fixing the darn roads in every corner of our state because every mile fixed and every pothole filled makes every trip better and whole lot safer.

And they would be right! President Trump and Republicans have caused costs to go up on American families over $2,000 since the so-called “Big Beautiful Bill” was signed into law. No joke!

🚧 Last but certainly not least, we wrapped up our Pothole Patrol tour with our final stop in Superior for stop number 1️⃣0️⃣, where the mayor and folks from city council helped me fill in potholes on Wyoming Ave.

I was thrilled to join local leaders in Green Bay to celebrate the next step in moving the coal piles by the Port of Green Bay. My administration was proud to support this effort with more than $40 million in investments to help usher in a new chapter of development in Green Bay.

With costs on gas, groceries, and healthcare going up, Wisconsin families are struggling to afford basic, everyday needs. President Trump and Republicans must get serious about lowering costs for working families.

My annual Pothole Patrol is about more than fixing the darn roads, it's also about sharing our appreciation for the folks who do this work every day. Every mile of the 9,600 miles of road we've fixed since 2019 is thanks to neighbors like them.

From Fourth of July cookouts to gas prices on the family road trip, Wisconsin families are feeling the squeeze of President Trump's reckless policies this summer.

🚧 My statewide Pothole Patrol continued this week with a stop to Wisconsin Rapids to fill potholes with the mayor out on Birch Street! We've secured some of the largest investments our transportation budget has seen in years, including for our local communities and roads.

Folks continue to feel squeezed at the grocery store check out, and as families get ready to fire up the grill this weekend, that Fourth of July barbecue is going to be a whole lot more expensive with beef prices up over 23% this year.

It was my honor to join AmeriCorps and Serve Wisconsin to recognize and thank several individuals, organizations, and AmeriCorps Senior volunteers at our annual Governor's Service Awards. In the Year of the Neighbor, these folks exemplify what being a good neighbor is all about.

Ensuring Wisconsinites have affordable housing is essential for the health of our communities and our economy. That's why I'm thrilled our administration has supported building more than 33,500 housing units to support our workforce, seniors, and families statewide since 2019.
