Interrested in many subjects with facts in them. Netzero progress. anti-nuclear activity = anti-climate
Include nuclear as does the entire EU. Solar and also has less performance in these heatwaves especially wind. Excluding nuclear is the same as promoting fossil. GP needs to change it's not 1970 anymore.
I am op the opnion the recuring constant RE vs Nuclear started from the anti-nuclear era and when the coal/oil/gas, where starting to boom. It lingers and returns. So beside electricity nuclear is there for industrial size applications, with heat/steam at volume.
Not using nuclear instead of fossil has lead to the massive increase in fossil in the last 4-5 decades.
Remove the ban and let the opputunity exist. Nuclear is an industrial energy source for massive hydrogen and or steam generation.
In France the grid also doing fine. There exporting 15GW of electricity when needed.
It's sustainable, IPCC, EU-taxonomy. If needed i'll show the graphs below to those interested.
The next 6 reactors in France are being build on the West-Coast. Is also said SMR as they can even be a passive design, where no open water system is needed. Or just need a much smaller amount of water cooling as the are 1/20th-1/4th of the existing reactors capacity.
Are we still doing this frame. With nuclear there will be no netzero. The challenge is so extensive.
It is good news. For everything we do we need to do something else. It all has an impact. Fearmongering is not useful.
Nuclear is one of those sustainable energy sources. And Canada is pretty good with that, also very domestically sourced.
Greenpeace is a lobby club, with certain goals and in my opinion not based on science. Some relevant graphs:
Disturbed/strange , there are still some (bot?) that support an autocracy before any democracy.
Or this disinfromation. Ps: no there not, they are going touse it to make MOX used as HALEU-nuclear fuel for smaller nuclear reactors.
Nuclear is very safe. For fossil, we are unfortunately nowhere near netzero yet. Electricity is the easy* part.
Good and because they have a large capacity of hydro and very small amount of geothermal
Decades of disinformation. Greenpeace and the farleft have always been very big in Germany. Gas and coal also always had a high interest in less nuclear.
Most certainly, because the task is gigantic, not only in electrcity, but also many forms where we need it for high temperature (including electrcity) And it's footprint is so very low.
