My photos app reminded me I took this picture on #HumpDay five years ago. I think the streak across the sky was the sunset peeking through smoke from western fires, which was what had drawn me to the field. Time flies, but some things remain the same. Wildfires. #HumpDay. •07-28-21 •Minneapolis

Here's the original. The haze had turned the sky a steel gray and you can somewhat see it hovering in the trees and brush. (Something also seems to have cast George Washington onto the shadows of my chest scoping out my left arm pit. Caution: Once you see it, you can't unsee it.)

A hazy sky from BWCA fire smoke affected the light; for fun, I was trying to make arms match tree lines. Using a sepia filter for #MonochromeMonday #MCM, the haze washed out detail creating an air of an old 1800s Italian art shot. Fun result (though I wish I had been naked). •07-19-26 •Minneapolis
