Donald Trump threatens to raise tariffs on Canada over wildfire smoke

U.S. President Trump is threatening to raise tariffs on Canada because of the smoke from wildfires in northern Ontario, which has caused poor air quality in Ontario and some U.S. states.
"We are holding Canada responsible for the fact that they are not properly maintaining their Forests ... and the United States is being unnecessarily invaded by filthy, polluted and unhealthy air," Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social.
He said that the pollution from the fires is costing the U.S. billions, and that it must be added to the tariffs Canada currently pays out "of necessity."

And this doesn’t end, if you follow car seats manufacturers guidelines they recommend your child sit in at least a booster seat until they are meeting the “5-step Test”, which essentially recommends keeping them in a seat until they’re an adult. A lot of adult women wouldn’t pass this test!

A child can ride safely without a booster seat when you can say YES to ALL 5

1) Back against the vehicle seat
2) Knees bend at edge of seat
3) Lap belt on tops of thighs, not on belly
4) Shoulder belt between neck and shoulder
5) Sits properly.No slouching, no playing with seat belt, etc.

* To ride safely, most kids need a booster until age 10-12*

I’m expecting a baby in the next week. The baby industry is hyper-capitalism but the car seat industry must be the automotive industry in disguise. You cannot find car seats that comfortably fit a sedan. It traps people into buying bigger cars which I think partially explains this graph from TLDR:

Stiles stressed FOI requests are the "tools we have to try to shed light in those really dark corners, so we can tell people what is actually happening.”
