Going to start telling people this is a chest freezer, because the freezer is at chest height
In Honolulu, as you probably know, they declined all advertising on their transit entirely. The result is an iconic TheBus design that actually sells merch! I bought a T-shirt when I was there a few years ago
Thumbs up to that! With my mandolin-scarred thumb. (We ditched the mandolin)
That account is based in London UK, but I see “cyclists should walk their bikes at crosswalks” misinfo all the time. Here in Brandon we have cyclist-only stop signs, which is ludicrous, and just put up “dismount to cross” signs as well. Like, imagine this at every slip lane — while on a bike path!
Why is Apple putting the actual sleep score at the end, so that it’s cut off in their own notifications? @gruber.foo
Ever heard of Jenga? Or Yahtzee? The Coca-Cola corporation says, “No you haven’t.”
My Brie-baseball and pretzel-stick bat snack platter kind of sucks, honestly, but at least I tried.
I don’t make the world’s best Strava art, but it is the most meaningful to me, today. #stravaart
I’m pretty sure this is out of copyright, but if not, this is my transformative work, and I hereby grant you license to use it.
Tens of thousands of bees but only got stung once while stealing their honey today. Terrible batting average by the bees, thought they were supposed to be industrious.
When your hotel in France has a little bit of home at the breakfast buffet 🇫🇷🇨🇦
So here I am now, in Lille, with a group of new friends from around the world, about to attempt a gruelling three-week lap of France. Unimaginable to the me from three years ago — the me with all 10 fingers and a cocky sense of invulnerability.
Today is Pinkyversary III — three years since a car slammed into me while biking and its grille wrenched off my pinky finger. The now-traditional hot-dog giveaway at Crash Corner has been suspended to accommodate my Tour 21 ride, but I still found time for a sausage photo. It’s finger food.
Seven days until The Tour 21 gets underway, but of course it’s just the culmination of months of training and fundraising to prepare for this epic ride. Every pedal stroke is for Cure Leukaemia research 💪 Feeling good and ready to ride!
This summer, I'm riding the entire route of the 2025 Tour de France, raising money for leukaemia research. You can help; here’s the link: www.canadahelps.org/en/dn/30925 (please select “Cure Leukemia” as the fund and choose to dedicate your donation in honour of “Grant Hamilton”)
Been aiming for this ride for several weeks and the weather and wind finally cooperated! Lovely day to notch my first 200-km ride 💪
