One thing I've finally figured out in my 67 years is to make an attempt to find my peace daily. I'm staying with my 91 mom for a few days who is under hospice care. The days range from realizing it's a DNR hanging on the fridge, to singing Amazing Grace with mom. Then a hike for my peace.

After losing our very loved 19 year old Snickers, fate intervened as our local rescue group matched us with an 8 month old pup, Rocky.
This is incredibly sad, while also incredibly true. I'm shocked at what has happened to our country in just a year.
Our Snickers, who sadly recently crossed the rainbow bridge at age 19, says give Lucky extra hugs and kisses from my mommy.
