De-stress Baking Day, Part 2 Bougatsa!

A tray of bougatsa, which is a flaky Greek breakfast pastry of phyllo dough and a semolina custard filling. The pastry is topped with confectioner’s sugar and cinnamon. It looks and smells delicious.

I will never cede my right to write a strongly worded letter.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet as Jack Dawson and Rose DeWitt Bukater toward the end of the 1997 Academy Award-winning cinematic masterpiece Titanic directed by James Cameron. Rose is lying on a broken wooden door that lacks the buoyancy to hold two people above water. Jack is treading water facing Rose and holding her hands. Their hair and clothes are covered with frost from the frigid North Atlantic spring air, and their skin has been tinted blue by the day-to-night camera filter. One of my succulents decided to put on a show while I was at the Book History Workshop. I’m so proud. They grow up so fast.

This morning at the Book History Workshop: Ron channeled a young Victor Frankenstein and then assembled an ink ball in the press room.
