Without saying your age what is your favorite movie from the year you turned 18? There were so many incredible movies from that year, an insane amount. This one actually thawed my cold, cynical teenage heart for a few minutes when I saw it.
I launched my new website last week and neglected to tell you about it. For that I am very sorry. The good thing is, it’s still there! You can go see it right now! It has info on #editing and #marketing services I offer, and stuff about my background. And photos like this! gregdoes.work #writing
I’m starting to think digging up dead dinosaur goo to burn it was not such a great idea.
Tried to scare myself silly in June. And yes, that includes Margo’s Got Money Troubles. I blame it on attending #stokercon at the beginning of the month, but also not complaining about going (back) to horror for a bit.
What better way to celebrate finishing my editing certificate program at University of Chicago than buying my own copy of the style manual. Now I’ll be able to remind myself about appositives while editing your manuscripts for all of eternity. Or until the 19th edition.

Whew. Finally getting around to posting about #StokerCon. Came back last week and had to immediately jump into a last minute project AND finish the work for my last class for my University of Chicago Editing Certificate. But now both are done and I can breathe a little. Look at all these books!
If by “thanked and praised” he means, robbed and eaten or taxed and barely tolerated, sure.
April’s reading list. All over the place with genre and style. Some things to help me learn, some things to entertain me, some things to help me understand life experiences unlike mine. #books are amazing. Long live books. #tbr @catrionaward.bsky.social @caseymcquiston.bsky.social
The only marketing strategy anyone needs for the foreseeable future unless you have tens of millions in media budget. And even then, you’re probably still better off spending those millions elsewhere and using this strategy. From @garbageday.email

This belief that only certain people deserve to have money is as old as money and is the foundation of the true class warfare waged by the haves against the rest of us. open.substack.com/pub/aaronrup...
ICE was in Vermont yesterday and after causing a multi-vehicle accident near two public schools they pursued the person they hadn’t positively identified into a house. When they finally got a warrant to enter the house (roughing up protestors in the process)… www.vermontpublic.org/local-news/2...
Stephen Miller, a goblin who looks like someone drew a face on a thumb, is also a ghoul and doesn’t seem to understand that everything he thinks will “make America strong” or whatever is what is going to kill whatever hope America has at staying relevant globally. prospect.org/2026/01/31/t...
It’s in your Gmail settings under Data Privacy —> Smart Features. Turning off all Smart Features gets rid of email sorting. Go into “Google Workspace smart features” and turn those off. That’ll get Gemini out of your email.
Tried to do this and got this message and have to figure it’s not a coincidence
