I like circuitry (synth DIY), software, bio stuff, and sailing. aka Firefly )'(. Roar!
Fun twist: most Jewish traditions originally had the bimah at the center, although more modern sects like Reform Judaism place the bimah at one end of the room with the Ark (Torah storage) behind it. Raised platform, usually with separate lecterns for the Rabbi and Cantor (song leader).
This is the garage. The stalls in the carport in the back are narrow (you can't open both doors all the way inside one, even on the Prius) but the curbs in this entry are the real hard constraint. I haven't measured with a tape measure but even driving the Prius w/o scraping the tires is hard.
Also, I knew the differential amplifiers I'm using for input signal buffering used a decent amount of current but I'm still surprised how hot that part gets.
Took two tries, but now I have the home-built ability to annoy ALL the neighbors with my taste in music.
Great article. I'm not a gamedev, I work in boring old b2b software, and this paragraph hits like a thunderbolt for any product management user interview, not just gaming. Everyone wants (exactly what I already have) but (it reads my mind and does thing X differently only when I think it should).
Boards are usually SMT. Big box of common components, sorted by category (caps, 1206 resistors, 0805 resistors in various ranges..); category bags hold sorted collections of cut tapes in baggies. Workbench for prototyping has trays of sorted baggies . I use a bookmark to keep my place.
Ok, weekend project done: @museum.of.emilyk.art 's Frog of Righteousness now welcomes any visitors to our home.
The custom keycaps were great, an off the shelf option will never be as personal an instrument as The Weapon Of Choice was. It was also just a solid build. I would pay A Lot to get another one like this from another mfr.
Strap in, motherfuckers. It's decorative gourd season and we're not going to waste a goddamn minute.
Swim competitions have gotten a lot more exciting since I was a teenager.
idk exactly how many folks turned out today in SF but it was "Verizon cell service couldn't keep up" dense with people for literal miles.
They've got a whole page on this, mostly about evils and pitfalls of margin. basiccapital.com/learn/margin... The benefit of margin is if the market crashes you don't lose your house! The loan collateral is part of your brokerage acct. Their own product is *super* vague on their collateral:
I was confused about the mention of the $100 (or is it $200?) de minimis tariff in context of the 145%... Is that a floor? Ceiling? Additional? At least on jlcpcb's pricing tool, they're going with "it's 145-175%". 1/3
Oh that's an interesting design! What do you like about it? I have this "pistol"-style Knipex a few years ago and never looked back. Handles 10-24AWG and lets you adjust the stripped end length quickly, precisely, and repeatably. How does that one compare?
Conundrum: I am out of tea, but to disturb this little man would make me history's greatest monster
Haven't posted about it much but I'm designing and building an analog semi-modular synth from scratch. Here's photos of the completed analog sound chain and an LFO module I just finished. Blog here: blog.gremblor.com
If you see this, I IMPLORE you to post a picture from whatever device you're using without explanation.
"Sir, they're not buying the ten dollar pasta sauce. Customers say it's too expensive for a jar of blendered tomatoes." "What if we just /tell/ them it's a low price?" "Goddammit Jerry, you're a genius!"
CEO at the annual strategy meeting: "we need a disruptive new business plan that..." Marketing dept, high on cocaine: "--say no more fam, I'm on it. Vegan. Spam. The future."
