Last trip up the hill was a beautiful day. This time we were going through fog/clouds and 6°. Variety is good though?
We went up to Olinda a few weeks ago to get a big old kilim rug cleaned. Went up again today to collect it and bought another one. Have to give this bloke a shout. He did a great job and has lovely rugs.
King (later Emperor) Henry VI (depiction from the Codex Manesse) was present at the Erfurt latrine disaster and survived unharmed. 60 - 100 people didn't.
I'm finding many things, some for the op shop, some for the bin. These shares in the St Petersburg Electric Carriage company might be worth something? Electric carriages are all the go.
They're pushing the inverted skull down so air bubbles come out the piriform aperture. Then popping the bubbles. We checked out the incisors and the teeny molars.
The grandkids are here all day so I'm looking for amusements. Today we're preserving a rat skull in resin.
I made a mistake with the "pigloo" post which had 400+ likes. I don't like this because, inevitably, it attracts the attention of people looking for someone to shit on today. One informed me that pigs *aren't* feral via a link to the article below, which pretty much defines feral?
This is a Canadian feral pig which has made a pigloo. This is quite concerning.
Much nicer day today. Went to Olinda and wound our way back. You can't really get lost these days and it takes a little of the fun out of it.
Jenkins has been here so often he regards it as a holiday. New toys, new sunny spots. Into the carrier he goes!
Email spam is bad enough. Text is more intrusive. Second organisation that should not have had my number but has sent texts.
Daughter's lot are off for a bit so we're cat sitting. He seems to regard this as a holiday, with new places to play.
Looking forward to the new version of the Odyssey. I hear it has a great cast.
And Kevin Kline as the Pirate King? We stole a lot of stuff from that when putting on Pirates of Penzance.
So there I was, minding my own business, hanging out the clothes and who should turn up?
