@repemilyrandall.bsky.social The response I received from NPF claiming THEY set up Freedom 250, which seems inconsistent with what has been reported.

The "preamble?" to her opinion quoting The Federalist No. 47, 324: "The accumulation of all powers, legislative, executive, and judiciary, in the same hands, whether of one, a few, or many, and whether hereditary, self-appointed, or elective, may justly be pronounced the very definition of tyranny."
Why is the cost healthcare in the US so much higher than in any other country? We were basically on the same general growth trajectory until 1988. What happened beginning in 1987 or 1988 that caused the trajectory of US healthcare costs to increase dramatically more than any other country.
Wishing all who celebrate a happy holiday. Every year we make a Christmas wreath for our door. Here is this year‘s. May the coming year bring us peace and a return to sanity. #HolidayGreetings
It looks like you might have relied on an AI description but it is incorrect. This is what is happening:
Or how about this one - premiums for a family of four with two young children and annual income of $60,000 would see premiums go from $zero to over $800/mo with a $12,000 deductible before insurance pays anything. This is why Dems held out on the budget and what Republicans are doing to Americans.
Or this - the cheapest insurance for a 50 yr old woman with two dependents aged 10 and 15 will increase from less than $100/m to nearly $500/mo with a $12,000 deductible before insurance pays anything.
For a 55yr old woman, earning the median US annual income, the cheapest healthcare plan in Washington will increase from $105/mo to $625/mo for a policy with a $6,000(!) deductible.
That is the Nazi Imperial Eagle displayed over Trump’s head and on his breastplate.
And one final point, the percentage of those under 35 who are homeowners has changed little since 1994. In 1994, 38% of those under 35 owned a house. As of the second quarter 2025, 36.4% of those under 35 owned a home. Not much of a change. The percent of seniors owning a home increased by <1%.
68% of homes are owned by people under age 65 - thanks not vanishingly few. Homeownership has declined among every single age group since 2019. Younger people’s ownership has decreased more than older people. In 1993, ≈38% of homeowners were under 45. In 2019 the number was ≈27%.
Burning the American flag is an act of speech protected by the First Amendment. And just to be perfectly clear, even if burning the flag was not constitutionally protected speech, the President does not have the legal authority to randomly create federal criminal laws.
32% of voters identified the economy as their primary concern. Of those 81% (!) voted for Trump - only 18% voted for Harris. That is just a failure on our part.
Dems need to pound on: Tariffs increasing the cost of groceries. Plus Positive Proposals to: reduce the cost of building housing Increase wages Reduce credit card interest rates & increase savings Reduce the cost of health care. And Democracy, Epstein and GOP corruption
