What I like best about my giant cat is that he keeps me humble. The tiny dogs think I'm a god, but the cat knows that I'm just a walking can opener. He also likes to sleep across the middle of my desk, because it's not like I have actual work to do...
My boy is named Anakin, because he was a tiny, fierce rebel when he first walked through the door and stole my heart.

I recently started my cold weather veggie garden in Central Florida. Planted soybeans, potatoes, sugar peas, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, and lettuce, along with companion plants to protect and nourish them. So far, so good!

Someone claimed that FL is toxic, so I wanted to show my toxic neighborhood today. The guy with the truck and boat is a Trump supporter. During the last hurricane, the boat trailer broke under the boat, and he needed to find a way to lift it up, remove the old trailer, and replace it with a new one.
