Um. I dumped out my work bag when I got home to see if I could find something I have lost. Do I need all these pens (some of them have not been used and I give these to people who don’t have a pen and there are fidget pens I sometimes give to residents. But three pairs of nursing shears? Annie.

Haven’t been on several days because I fell, broke 3 ribs (during a severe Ménière’s attack). Then I had difficulty with speech. This has been my last four days
My ex let me know that our cat Ozzie died. Ozzie was the kitten I drove to Missouri to get. We had just lost his dog, and my ex primarily worked from home. He bonded with the cat. So he took Ozzie and the dog Eddie in the divorce. He let me know a while ago that Oz had cancer. Such good kitty.
I finally got my teeth fixed from when I fell on my face. I had no idea how much those chipped teeth made me feel like crap. Also my nose is numb.

Tonight I offered a my work bestie one of these and she looked at me like ….. You could have cut the tension with a knife. She gave me this sultry look like she was going to seduce the cookies out of me. No need, friend, the cookie is yours.
So the new tattoos are the lines on my wrists. It’s a reminder that “there’s a thin line between pleasing yourself and pleasing someone and pleasing somebody else.
Maybe the concussion. But you always say I’m cute. Did you know they made me take a photo for my badge? If you look at it close enough you can tell the whole right side of my face is swollen. I shellac’d makeup on. Actually used eyeshadow to hide the black eyes.

This is my nurse’s week gift. Every nurse got a pen with some kind of healthcare symbol. I got the dumpster fire. Appropriate. Also got some under eye treatment, post its, a sharpie, pen light, a regular pen and a lil notebook. Oh, a pen with a little capsule and a paper clip with a capsule.
I received $110. I am still trying to raise $190 to get my medication. I have to work again on Sunday night and it’s going to be horrible without medication. I’m very grateful though because at least I can get something to eat in the morning. V/PP @grimalkinrn.
