Personal - books, comics, music, guitars, art, astronomy, games. Booze. Professional - pensions specialist.
I assume Amazon are using AI to do the summaries of what’s on Prime - this one from Hackers (unashamedly one of my favourite films) is full of errors.
Was interested in if it was common to use Grand Marnier in a margarita - saw this recipe and it looks a little painful to me…
A very good person to know. And I’m sure he feels the same about you! First bottle of Jade Terminus I ever had, not long after it was first released, was signed by him. Still got it.
HMRC sign 10 year, £175m contract to roll AI across the department. What could go wrong? www.professionaladviser.com/news/4529702...
I put my phrase, “tis a rough Misselthwaite that don’t show nobody no toast” into Google and added “meaning” at the end, and I was pleased to see it gave it definition and claimed it was an actual line from the book. 2/3
Always nice to have a cat collapse on your foot. I believe it is illegal to remove it. By the way, this is not my cat. I don’t have a cat. #proofofcat
Arrived already! Even the paper covering is great and I’m loathe to unseal it, it’s so nice.
Thank you! My brief foray into mechanical keyboards (with Severance style Dasher keycaps to match the drudgery of my working day 😬)
First sazerac. First time tasting Peychaud’s. Really nice! #saturdaycocktails
Ok, 19 Crimes. I won’t be buying you again based on this literary incompetence.
Unfortunately you don’t get the full horror on mobile, as they truncate the images, but if you look on tablet or desktop… I especially like the multi-fingered lady, fresh from paintball, holding a lemon in a glass.
As a cleanse, here is my #proofofcat - and again this is not my cat, but a friendly pudding from an unknown neighbour, who likes to make himself at home.
This is still #notmycat but he’s come in to lounge on the table, next to my aviation, while we rewatch Halt and Catch Fire. #proofofcat
Managed to cure a debilitating condition (not having enough money) by going on a journey (writing a book).
