It has its moods. I was glad I left just prior to the COVID outbreak. Mind you, Singapore wasn't a treat during lockdown, but it wasn't as draconian as China was.
Ah yes, my olde stomping grounds. Worked in Shanghai on and off since 2010. Moved there in 2018 for a while. Used to live on Jiaozhou Rd. just above Wuding Rd.
