Walking back from the pictures last night (Jason and the Argonauts - ace!) and this young fox popped out from a bush, literally 7-8 feet from us. We stood still and watched it for 20 seconds or so and it seemed happy enough to let us, then started to mooch off so i tried to snap a pic 😅😅

Having 6 joint leaders on day 10 of the basho is crazy stuff. The tournament has had a lot of quality removed by a number of injuries but it is exciting stuff nevertheless. I will miss the last 2 days though as i will be in hospital over the weekend 🥲😅. #sumo

The heron came back. It has now flown over in the field and is walking about - maybe it secretly wants to be a cow too.
The cows had to go back and get the little ( well, littler) one from under the tree as it was too nervous to cross the bridge on its own 🥺 Well, probably, i'm not a cow mind reader, but i watched the whole thing play out over 10 minutes while drinking my coffee.
