This option is really nice as I had already pressed that button unintentionally a few times. "Hard" seems to be the right setting for me.
Great rapid fire video with a lot of the new stuff in today's VS 2026 release by @noraajunker.bsky.social. And is that a case of 5.25" floppies in the background? Awesome!
Just pushed a super basic WPF app that I'm going to use for the one feature Windows's Snipping Tool still doesn't have that I really miss from when I used SnagIt. github.com/gusper/SnipJ...
Are you referring to the 10.0 tag in the screenshot? I'm pretty sure that's expected as Windows 11's actual version number is still 10.x based, but I'll confirm.
Overnight thinking led me to wonder if there's more going on with this seemingly very special Copilot key. Pretty sure there is. Dell's docs point to a cascade of branched experiences for it. www.dell.com/support/kbdo...
Yeah, ordered from them directly. No ETA but it looks like it left the HK airport yesterday. May take a little bit, but at least both the keyboard and the palm rest are in the same shipment.
Just pushed the v1.0.1 update of my SearchSwap browser extension to the Edge and Chrome stores. Cleaned up the UI a bit and added site's favicons. Looks purdier if you ask me. github.com/gusper/Searc...
Drove to Spokane with my show buddy daughter to see Medium Build open for Rainbow Kitten Surprise at the Spokane Pavilion. MB was great. Totally worth the road trip. Really cool venue too.
I'm not sure I'd ever known about Settings->System->Multitasking on Windows. Turns out you can control the behavior of browser tabs getting added into the ALT+TAB set of apps.
On a flight this morning but best wife ever did the record store day experience for me and got the one I was really hoping to get! #dada #recordstoreday
Time to get back to this project. Finally. If I don’t get this done in 2024, I’m going to be really pissed at myself. #woodworking #guitars
In drawer knife block for our two bread knives who’ve been roughing in the drawer without slots to call home. #woodworking
All done. Nicely snug. Now let’s see what crap ends up getting put on it. #woodworking
In case it helps, here's what it looks like when I brought it in to test for size.
Ended up having to thin out the long sides to have it fully fit on top of the crate. That was 'fun', but at least I got some more experience setting up a router in a less-than-ideal scenario. First coat of poly on under side. Hoping to get 1-2 more before bedtime. Tomorrow, the top. #woodworking
Happy with the progress I made today. Glue up overnight and tomorrow I get to my least favorite part -- finishing. #woodworking
Second weekend in a row in the shop after months. Always good to get back to hobbies to not spend all my mistakes at work. #woodworking
Just had dinner and a few drinks with some old friends. Got home and looked at the new Visual Studio feed I created earlier today and saw posts from as far back as 2007 about VS 2008. I'm assuming it's not the drinks but that Bluesky has some way of backdating posts?
Oh yeah. I get multiple scroll bars a lot too, and content shifts a few pixels horizontally when I switch directions while scrolling. That said, I think these type of bugs aren't what they're focusing on yet. Probably the right call too. 😊
