The dude who makes these is named Israel and he's a ringside photographer who tags along when guys come over from Mexico like Flamita and Bendito. I wish they'd commission him long-term.
One underrated thing DG does really well is drawing from the loyalty bonds formed among class debuts and early partnerships. Obviously it's a big deal for Yuki Yoshioka to lose Dia after the story the two had built for years, but teaming with Minoura actually pre-dates that.
OK, I need to know why the hell I've been getting ads for the last few months for laser tube cutters and slag collectors. I have literally never worked in any industry that's even adjacent to this product, but these ads keep showing up.
