A further personal #GIUK-NGap klaxon. RAF Lossiemouth is a frontline base. From the RU perspective, it sits in the World Oceans, proximate to the Far Seas Zone & covering the Gap, the #atlanticbastion & the broader #highnorth. Kaushal & Black (RUSI, 2025) assert an RU... #thoiranaire 1/6

An update @jsargentr.bsky.social, from the 19th. I thought the reflected green light from an adjacent building lent this a certain, but apt, oil-slick-like coating...
UK: very interesting launch of the Resilience Imperative in London yesterday. An independent, non-partisan awareness campaign to "alert the nation to the threat of the undeclared, hybrid war being waged against us"... #resilienceimperative #nationalresilience #warpreparedness
My sense (which may be wrong) is this should fall under the National Security Council (Resilience) first, but then may still be fed through the Lead Government Department (LGD) model which the Government has retained as the basis for ownership of, & organising response to, civil contingencies (1/2)
