Ngl, I love that you all are enjoying your various sports, but I will be hugely glad when it's all over. I only wish I could photoshop tennis balls, bicycle wheels, cricket balls, and rugby balls into the Oatmeal cartoon here.

I just very carefully extracted one aeropress filter from the stack, put it back in the bag and put the stack in my aeropress... The need to have had enough coffee to be awake enough to make coffee is a serious flaw.

Right. Theatre have vetoed two different swords (for a show with no combat, but an important plot point involving a sword), and this has meant we spent today making a scabbard out of plastic pipe, sticky backed vinyl, and air dry clay. (Cable tie ends will be cut tomorrow.) 🫠
We were finally able to escape the house yesterday after the car got fixed, and went to see the cherry blossom at Batsford Arboretum.
