Finally: Rubens vs. Goya Spain's insistence on starting Goya could be a problem, especially with talents like Picasso, Miró, Velasquez and Dalí on the bench. Any of them would decisively beat Rubens (or anyone else on Belgium's roster). If Spain uses Goya as a late-game sub, they win hands down.

Next: Walloons vs. Catalans Walloons are probably under-appreciated as a culture and also "Walloon" is very fun to say. But Catalonian art & cuisine put Spain over the top here—along with the impressive depth of Spain's bench, which includes Galicians, Basques, Andalusians and Asturians.

Next up: Chimay vs. Estrella Galicia Not only is Chimay the clear winner here, but Belgium also boasts incredible depth at this position (Duvel, Delirium, Leffe, Stella, Rochefort and more), while Spain can only offer a few good but frankly uninspired options (Estrella Damm, Mahou, Alhambra).

I don't usually do this, but I'm going to share my analytical breakdown of today's match-up between Belgium and Spain. First off: Moules frites vs gambas al ajillo. An excellent effort from the Belgians (which surely would triumph over many strong opponents), but in the end Spain wins handily.
