as someone who lives in pasadena I can personally report there is also a different building in pasadena that looks strikingly like la porte indiana’s courthouse

St. Andrew’s Church in pasadena, similarly to the indiana courthouse building it features a large brick clock tower turret and a plentitude of archways

#FunFactFriday When animals are sexually dimorphic (meaning different sexes look so different from each other they could come from a different species), sometimes nature makes a genetic mashup of sexes in one individual, called a ✨gynandromorph✨. They’re on the rarer side & very cool to see! 🧡🦋🏳️‍🌈

Meet Rosie! She was the gentlest tarantula I’ve ever met. Back in college I introduced her to a large number of kids through the entomology department’s insect zoo. She was super popular for a good reason— she was an absolute sweetheart! 🧡🧡🧡
