You know, what the RISC-V ISA needs is a decoder ring, like required for AMD codenames. Getting something like 'RV32IMBC' thrown in your face and first thing you do is sigh and pop open the Wikipedia entry to figure out what crucial ISA bits were omitted this time for easy porting...
Patreon seems to be having some major issues and decided to lock me out of my account. Needed to merge my creator & user account, which failed, cannot reset password and cannot contact support, as you need to be logged in. Genius.

I think that Penpen would be pretty chill with you going on trips without his permission :)
I'm not saying that the Faux AI Bubble is popping, but if Nvidia line not go up, we may have a stagnating bubble.
The more you look at AI slop like this, the worse it gets. This is the WWW in 2026 now: just page after page of machine-generated vomit :(
My main issue with USB-C is that you still need to look at the connector to properly align it for insertion. It'd be so much easier if the connector was round, so that you could insert it no matter what orientation. Maybe one day we'll figure out how to do it.
Got to love old spools of PLA filament. Super brittle and stiff even after drying and proper storage.
I mean, it's only where literally Ukraine's trident symbol comes from. Moscow/Muscovy is the cancer that keeps trying to take over the region.
Somehow this fictional future doesn't seem as bad as the one we found ourselves in.
It's also a machine-generated pic with bits from Idiocracy instead of a real photo. Shame when you got real photos readily available. E.g.: From: abcnews.com/US/new-satel...
I mean, just look at how obese twenty years have made modern mainboards...
Humans are dumb, panicky dangerous animals once you put them in a group. That's why social media gets you the largest, dumbest and most panicky dangerous animals imaginable. www.imdb.com/title/tt0119...

The new Valve controller really reminds me of the Atari Jaguar one. Seems like we're back to adding more stuff to those controllers. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atari_J...
Gigabyte using an AI slop image in its press release announcing support for gimped DDR5 DIMMs is really on point. videocardz.com/newz/gigabyt...
I'm sure, 'sure let me try to use GitHub Copilot' and so far it's going amazingly. Great tech, amazing, would recommend.
Amazingly terrible reporting by CNN, with their glossing over the world's largest nuclear power sector and lumping nuclear, natural gas, hydro and VRE together in one figure. Like, what's the point of such a figure if it doesn't even distinguish between fossil fuel types?
This photo was shot with either a Xiaomi Note 10 Pro smartphone or a 2009 era Canon Ixus 100 point and shoot. The previous two photos were shot using the opposite device. Which photo was shot using which device? *Glances at answer card*
Doing some summer photography. These are definitely flowers of some description, I think.
