Chazen has wonderful Slitheen voices. June is a great one off companion, very resourceful and thinks on her feet. Middle part is a slog. The slitheen have no wind jokes here and are dangerous, but i thought they were calcium based? 🤷♂️ Athens has been well researched. Cute lion cub 🦁 #MiniKettle

Skyfall (2012) relies more on characterisation than stunts, and is all the better for it. Welcome to Scotland 😂 Judi Dench gets a chance to show how great an actress she is. Stunning visuals and directorial flair. Silva is scary, erotic, but worringly real. Loved the reintroduction of elements 9/10
Frankenstein Must be Destroyed (1969). The Baron is much colder and nastier in this (the rape scene v unpleasant). Gorier too but a big step up from the last entry. V strong cast. The Policeman is rather silly - wouldn't you check for a cellar, why is he there? Loved the pompous house guests😂 8/10
Deflating like an overcooked souffle! 😂 McKenzie is clearly enjoying herself with her cackles😂 Reggie is adorable, i'm happy for him. The dialogue and tone of the story are magically fun with the final scene between Doc and Romana hysterical! Romana wants a quantum thery book 😂🙈 #MiniKettle
This is a delightful 2 hours with the one and only Tom - a national treasure, witty, melancholy, full of great stories and reminding us all to just enjoy ourselves and don't waste time on trivial nonsense. Marvellous! #MiniKettle
This was very talky, but its Siobhan Redmond, The Rani, and The War Doctor so it was fascinating talking! Good to get under the skin of both characters, and Ranis motivation and stance make complete sense from her perspective. I wonder what happens to her next...
The Iron Claw (2023) portrays the frankly tragic wrestling family of the Von Erichs, and they have experienced hell. Effron, be still my beating heart! 😍 impressive wrestling moves, but the guy playing Ric Flair gets it totally wrong 🙈 the humanity in Kevin is the anchor of the film. 7/10

Hadn't rewatched it in years, but I went back to Fantasia for The NeverEnding Story. I felt emotional at the end. It's still wonderful, I loved this film as a child and its message of live your imagination and dreams is such an important one.
Nobody talks about The Crusade (the subject matter in light of current events?) but boy is it good - super actors, lush sets, Hartnell cheeky with that fantastic trader and his warm relationship with O'Brien, the shouting match with Joanna and Richard, top quality direction, dialogue.
2. Being turned into a service robot is pretty bleak! Molloy is so cold as the examiner. I cant take that trader seriously 😂 it's tragic what happens to their 'love', adored the description of their nervous system (?), heart (?). Doc just lets him in the TARDIS?! more moody McCoy 😃 #MiniKettle
3.1 COE Day One. Dazzled by Rupesh 😍 genius idea to do Village of the Damned children. Huge char dev for all, love Iantos chat with his sister and Bridget hitting the button! How classy is Capaldi? 'Cochroaches of govn' 😂 tremendous set up ep & cliffhanger. Rhys is the common sense guy 🙂 9/10
Recycled music, McCoy clearly not prepared and lots of talking, this had a lot of potential though as a communist parallel timeline but it's half baked to me and doesn't come to fruition. The last scene is the best one with McCoys textbook brooding. Mel could have had a meatier role here #MiniKettle
To Wong Foo, thanks for everything! Julie Newmar (1995) the leads are spectacularly convincing as their drag queen leads and Swayze's dishing out of justice to various homophobes is worth the admission price alone. Did she just choose not to talk that woman? 🤷♂️ cliched but a fun ride 6/10
What a trip, nearly home now (in Dublin) but while the other night was disappointing we go again! This was Fenway Park ⚾️🧢 not a bloody clue what was going on but you could feel the history of this place. Boston, you were superb hosts for the Tartan Army, thank you 🏴🤝🇺🇸
More than 30 years in the TARDIS is still a great watch, well more than 30 years later! 😂 Liz Sladen looks creepy as with the green eyes. 'I couldnt possibly comment' 😂 Watlings 'stop it' 😂 Saward isnt blaming JNT. Devils Planet is on it! 😃 Toyah Wilcox is a kinky bitch. A lot of missed faces.
Like any good writer Dorney gets characters. Focuses on a couple who will never be the same because of this war, and its heartbreaking. Pearce is gloriously camp here 😂 Bliss has made no impression, how can she? War is hell folks, and McGann excels telling us. Love hiding time lords 😂 #MiniKettle
