Sometimes I get paid to draw. Sometimes I don't, but I draw anyways. If you don't know why you're following me, read my comic in my pinned bloot (I think the posts here should be called bloots). 🏳️⚧️
What four classic video games to you find yourself replaying no matter how old they are? These are mine:
Who’s your favorite super-hero? (Without saying Batman or Spider-Man) For me it’s the Red Tornado, for a bunch of weird personal reasons, but also because he never lets being completely exploded stop him from coming back to fight evil for more than a few issues
I got this when I had to stay overnight at the hospital after hitting my head at school. They used to do that to make sure you didn't have a concussion; I don't think they do any more. In the end, I didn't have a concussion, but I remember this wraparound cover. Just not any of the stories inside.
What movie did you see way too young. I was sleeping over at my grandma's and this was on TV.
QRP with your header art!! Mine is a detail of the 1st age of a comic I put up on the internet roughly 6 months ago. You can read it for free at hamf.ist!
What actor's expression in a movie will stay with you the rest of your life?
That's all just preamble to me announcing that I got a new nameplate yesterday. It's early days on the show so so far it's just a generic studio nameplate, but plain as it is, I think it's my favourite.
I don't remember when I started doing that, so I don't know if I have any from my earliest jobs. The ones I do have are scattered all around my garage, but I found 2 of the best of them to post here as examples.
Somewhere along the 30ish years of working in animation I started making a habit of grabbing the nameplates from my various office doors and cubicle walls as I left, just to have something to keep as a memento of each specific gig.
Movie you’ve watched more than six times using gifs. (“Hard mode” no Star Wars, Star Trek, or LOTR)
Here’s a screenshot of this congressperson describing herself as a “Constitutional conservative“ on Twitter.
Newsweek picked some weird graphics for their child marriage graphic - you wouldn't know this was an article about child marriage from the images. I did a little bit of work in Affinity to fix it, but it doesn't really convey the appropriate sense of coercion.

A challenge to writers. Post 1 sentence a day from any project for 20 days. I stole this line from Jack Kirby, but I can't find the source again for proper attribution. It's either from New Gods or Thor, I think. #WriteSky #WritingCommunity #Writing #Writers #QueerWriters Day 14:
