I thrifted this book and as I started really looking into it, I'm excited to read it. Now I just need to find this author's book Stone Butch Blues 🌹
Stopped by Nome's small boat harbor to visit a couple of friends that long ago lived here. Now they are taking their sailboat thru the northwest passage!
A very interesting presentation, a French and a Polish researcher are in town trying to trace the path of a Polish woman back in 1926-1930./1
I'm kinda excited! A dance group is coming to Nome later this month and they are doing workshops for those interested locally. I signed up and can't wait. I love to dance!
It's a beautiful day 🌞 Still, I had some plants that desperately needed re-potting, so I've gotten a start to that. I love playing in the dirt 😊
I feel the need to post this again. On the cusp of the 250th bday things are rough and these words are some consolation for me.
I checked out a book via inter library loan, when I received it found it hadn't been checked out in forty years! First time it was loaned out, I still wasn't of this world 🤣
To the little girl that ran up to me and said "I made this for you". She handed me this bead piece and gave me a big smile before running back to her family nearby. I wish you could read how much that means to me! You are such a wonderful human, please never change!
Happy, joyful, awesome, fun pride 💥🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ Rain couldn't dampen all these queers 😊
Hanging out in the backyard, drinking hard cider, listening to Laura Jane Grace, life is kinda delightful right now 🥂
In Anchorage, looking forward to Pride this coming weekend 🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈
Today was Nome's midnight sun parade. A group of us show up to represent and fly our colors. Wishing I would have gotten more pics, too busy handing out rainbow flags 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
In contrast to my western kigluaik picture, here's how lush it can be in the central kigs. From a hike a couple years back
