Used to work in CGU House, which was the next-door building to Heron House on the Square - always loved this little bit of Liver pride in the heart of Milltown (I'm guessing this has now been removed)

Gone down a bit of an Operation Sea Lion rabbit hole this morning and I can see why this particular part of the early plans got changed - someone had clearly never tried to get around/out of East Anglia in a hurry…
Not normally into such things but I’d strongly recommend Sunny Afternoon to anyone with even a minor interest in The Kinks - really well put together and a terrific cast (though, if I was Mick Avory, I’d be absolutely *furious* at my depiction in this)
