This little girl is getting married today. ❤️ She's grown up into a kind, compassionate woman who makes the world so much better for so many people. Whether it's the sense of community, or the ways that she gives back to those in need, we are so proud to call her our own. Here's to a happy life.❤️

I wish you all my friends a meaningful Juneteenth. I appreciate the celebration of freedom but it is hard to celebrate in our country when so many people are being oppressed. However you honor this day, may you be blessed.

This is my county after the storm blew through tonight. I am very thankful that I still have power. Mine went totally out for about a minute and flickered a bit but it was okay afterwards. Best to you if you are in the path of this.
Happy Pi Day! It is ten days after the only day of the year which is a command (sort of.) When I was in high school my teacher told us that they tried to solve this for miles and it never ended. I doubt things have changed since then lol.
On a much lighter note, on this day in history, using the work done by Percival Lowell, Clyde Tombaugh discovered Pluto. And despite its declassification as the ninth planet, it is still a planet in my house. 😉
25 years ago, Dale Earnhardt, the man who was larger than life on the track, left this realm. It's hard to believe, but it's been that long. There's still a hole that no one or nothing can fill in the sport.
40 years ago, these adventurers whose dreams and visions of exploring space woke up with the excitement that few of us ever get to experience. Fate had a different outcome for them. We still miss them and honor them.
One of my favorite things about Dr. King is his affirmation of workers. He lost his life at a place where he was rallying for the rights of sanitation workers.
I had the opportunity to celebrate last night with some great like-minded folks, and we all feel hopeful that 2026 is going to better and that better days are ahead. 🙂 People seem to slowly be waking up to what is happening and do not like it. Things are going to turn around.
