As I cruised down the Colorado River this morning, I realized, people are happier on boats. Lots of waving to strangers and enjoying the ride.
I just heard a Billy Squier song across the hall and drifted back to this fine concert in 1991 while stationed in OKC. I just remember how hot it was and drinking an unknown libation out of a leather flask with a bunch of bikers near the front of the stage. Also, Pauly Shore, and he was great.

My younger sister in law said to me last weekend “most guys your age get a Corvette. You get another Bachelor’s.” Might be the nicest thing she has ever said to me. Leave it to me to get a good old-fashioned liberal arts degree when they have fell so far out of fashion. I’m cool with it.

Had the opportunity to visit the Great Plains Black History Museum yesterday in Omaha. A lot of generational talent from a small geographical area.
