I saw MAN HUNT on TV when I was 10, and "deaf" to the absurdities. The tragedy of the climax still touched me deeply. Of course, the Peter O'Toole 1976 TV movie of ROGUE MALE made its own changes but is still close to "definitive".

I thought this cover looked familiar. A version of it appeared in the first Captain Scarlet annual (August 1967) although the Stop Press running order had already been amended.

Only learned yesterday that Gerald C. Lawson (here with Gerald James in the 'Costigans Rocket' episode of THE PLANE MAKERS 1963) was the father of versatile Welsh actor #BernardFox (BEWITCHED, UNCLE, here in MUNSTER GO HOME 1966). Both actors appeared in THE MUMMY (1959 and 1999 versions).

Now trying to track down a DVD of Mis a Sac, which sounds like it may be one of the most faithful Parker adaptations I've never seen.
