The cover for the TNG paperback "The Battle of Betazed" by Charlotte Douglas and Susan Kearney.

It depicts Deanna Troi holding a Phaser Rifle, a cool expression on her face, while 3 Jem'Hadar soldiers are depicted below her charging into battle. The background is very blue and space-y with some big weird alien towers that look like the space needle sans needle.

His eyes are closed, lips parted to accept, but his body arches a little away with his hands in a posture that suggests surprise. He seems to be trying not to touch her in this moment, which I think speaks to a very deep read of the moment at play and the nature of their characters. 💖 This piece is rendered in mainly yellows, except for the deep purple shimmer of Tasha's silks.

Data looks fucking ethereal here: wide eyes, soft face, slightly sad expression in low, blueish toned lighting that makes him almost glow.

I've been working with the all-in-one granny square yarn and I think I've finally cracked the code for how to get em consistent!

Hawks granny squares from Red Heart's all in one granny squares yarn (color: hyper violet). 5 on the left are with the pattern on the label and are a bit looser overall, while the 4 on the right use a modified method and seem a bit more tightened up.

The squares all go from dark pink, to hot pink, to lilac, to indigo and finally black for the border.

We've got canon confirmation that TNG's Moriarty is an utmost gentleman and a gracious host!

From TNG'S "Elementary, My Dear Data", we see Moriarty and Dr. Pulaski chillin in Moriarty's secret lair having a spot of tea (and presumably crumpets, off screen). Moriarty holds a very nice looking China teacup and saucer and looks to be in serious conversation with Dr. Pulaski.

A jewel-toned rainbow ombre bandana made from a granny triangle core edged with a decorative, scallop-y, lace-like border. It's sitting on my table, waiting for the edges to get sewn in and hidden

Same as previous, but with my hand on the granny square portion for scale. It's about 5" tall, plus another 4-5" with the border on top of it. I had to fiddle with it so MUCH to get the sizing close, but I still might make another one with a bigger hook and see if that drapes more like I'd want it to.

Reinforced some weak spots where my phone sits in my pockets while I was at it #VisibleMending #Embroidery

A vibrant fuchsia and orange daisy (or charitably, Echinacea) embroidered on the thigh of my jeans at about where the bottom of the front pocket sits when filled with a standard cellphone.

Same spot, opposite leg, but this time a sunflower done with a MUCH more consistent lazy daisy stitch.

My satin stitches will get there, some day.

A hole in my jeans back pocket in process of being embroidered. I have the hole blanket stitched to reinforce the edge, and now I'm going over that with vibrant green thread to embroider a leaf motif overtop that. I have fabric under the hole to anchor my stitches too.

The finished product, a vibrant green singular leaf on the bottom part of my back pocket. There's small white stitches around it where I tacked down the backing fabric, but you really gotta squint to see em.

Me, Shrimp With a Pearl Earring, 2025, Whiteboard marker on whiteboard.
