I have a microscopic patch of this planet. It’s enough. Binned off the other place. So far this looks better. The natural world rules. Don’t argue with it.
That performative tittle-tattle has cost our efforts on energy security, net zero and climate change. Just so people in cities can have cheaper bus fares.
You’re not. I live in a 330 yr old house. Thick stone walls and lath and plaster. Listed. No space in small back garden. No space in bathroom for a hot water cylinder. And to cap it all I live in a World Heritage Site. We’d have to destroy the house to get a heat pump in here.
I guess it takes a man to write your last line completely missing the point. Burnham two hours into the bloody job. Perhaps he should have kept her. Looks like he might need her.
See all those little insects that look like flies? They’re bees. Campanula bees. On my Campanula plant. They’re about 0.6cm long. Teeny tiny perfectly formed little bees.
Meant to say, Corbyn has deleted this shameful post and all others from the last 15 days. Now what’s that all about?
Seems like Lucy isn’t a fan of free speech. Replies turned off. What the hell is she so scared of? The truth?
It’s official. I am no longer a Labour Party member. Never been so insulted by my party. These two sentences alone made me damned sure I’d done the right thing. Absolutely tone deaf.
Yeah. Very radical. Bit like the radical Starmer who has this at white paper stage. His clean air drive was a disaster and wasted millions when he cancelled it because it made him unpopular. So Burnham. That’s who says it. bsky.app/profile/csav...
So I’ve just sent in the second form saying I definitely want to resign and now this. Why the hell are they dragging this out?
If you’re going to quote Starmer at least quote accurately. It was the PLP who decided he wasn’t the right person to lead the Party into the next GE. This is part of the transcript of his speech. He accepted that other people didn’t think he was the right person.
Not sure this politician is going to learn. He has an aversion to being unpopular.
Have to say this email from The Labour Party this morning pissed me off. All gushing about how great Starmer was and how he’s changed the party. Then goes on to say how important membership is to fight for a Labour Mayor in Manchester! Burnham abandoned his post. He can bloody fight for it.
Too late for all that. The tactics of this coup was a great big punch in the face for the members and I’ll be amazed if there is a leadership election. I’ve waited decades to get the PM I wanted. This is all way above my tolerance level. They’re making fools of the members. Never again for me.
Well maybe bigging up what the government is actually achieving rather than endlessly posting about how bad Reform are on a platform where there are virtually no Reform voters would help. There’s a lot of positives to talk about. You could start by reposting this!
@thebeeguy.bsky.social Any idea what’s going on here? Two bees which look to be two different species, joined together. Smaller bee has its tongue out on the big bee’s back end. On the side of a storage box in my garden.
Oh. Sorry. Didn’t realise you’ve been off grid. Here’s just a couple as a taster.
Written by my dear friend. It’s wonderful. Not because he’s my friend. Because it’s wonderful.
