It's getting there. Ton more sanding to do, then liquid greenstuff gap filling, then more sanding, then undercoat, more sanding...and then I'll probably fuck up the spray paint at the end \o/
Which is why (up until I forced the HOA to allow drilling through the walls) I was kinda limited to the less efficient option...
If you're not drilling into the windowsills, or removing the part that opens, you can! But bear in mind most of us have windows like these (and often they can't even open all the way):
I don't know what size those particular ones require (but I'm interested), but I happen to live on the second block myself, and the small panes (which aren't really panes) have about 9 inches to work with. Would that do?
So, I don't disagree with making it easier for people to do these things! But, just so you have more information, in NL a very large number of people don't live in self owned family homes. They live in something like these two (cont.)
