Yeast demonstration. I baked the loaf on the right yesterday. Guessed the yeast had gone off. Baked the loaf on the left today. Exactly the same ingredients but fresh yeast 😮 It was the yeast I could do 😁

I love the insanity of English country lanes. Single track, high hedges, mud, loose gravel, horse shit & road kill everywhere, water hazard, humpback bridge, pedestrians, cyclists, cars, tractors & wildlife all thrown together with a 60mph speed limit. In this case all on the same bit of lane! 😂

I got presale access to Rush tickets. I said I was done with stadium gigs but was prepared to make an exception, until I saw the price at checkout. £529.75 I’ll pass. Dug out a ticket from when I saw them in 1980 and it was £4.50. BoE inflation calculator says that’s £19.49 in today’s money. Ouch!
