I started mini painting with the survivors of my 90s HeroQuest, and I have the Remastered version, including all but 2 of the Expansions. The minis were and are fantastic for painting. But I prefer the Advanced Rules over the Original/Remastered ones

If you see this, drop a hero with a sword! The PC of one of my players recently found a Moontouched greatsword. Bit of a downside for a gloomstalker ranger but a +1 is a +1 Magic Sword. So they made a new mini which I painted for them. #minis #minipainting #warhammer #dnd #HeroQuest #Nerdlings

I think it is the tough build. I painted mine in multiple stages before fitting the final product together. But that left a lot of stuff to paint that was just too visible to leave bare, but not prominent enough to be fun to paint
