A pale colored butterfly perched ona plant. It has black and white striped antennae and nurmours black dots on its wings. There are five orange dots at the bottom back part of its wongs. When the wings are open they are an incredible pale blue.

We spent 4 days building a fence to keep cattle out of this valley. It's the very first step in a multi- year restoration project restoring the riparian area around the stream to bring the beavers back.

I've only ever heard a Canyon Wren before so I was stoked when I pulled over near the Deschutes outside Maupin and there were two less than five feet from my car. #birds
