Senior Accessibility Specialist - Many Cats Studios Accessibility Co-Lead - Limit Break Mentorship I am a woman the way a tomato is a fruit, and I meet at least 5 of the 7 characteristics for something to be considered "alive".
He will be my cat on Sunday when we collect him! He missed me, I missed him, got lots of cuddles.
I am once again out and about at Develop, attending the @limitbreak.co.uk round table, & social and later moderating the Making the case for accessibility roundtable! I have plenty of @manycatsstudios.bsky.social and regular cat stickers, so come say hi!
Come find me at Develop to get cat stickers, and to talk about the amazing range of accessibility services @manycatsstudios.bsky.social offers!
Preparing to head off to Brighton, a bag full of sunscreen and a head full of business which is why I clearly subconsciously dressed like a bee today to match my nails??
As with many others, you'll find me at Develop Conference in Brighton next week, plying my accessibility trade with the rest of the @manycatsstudios.bsky.social crew, speaking professionally and generally being a grown up... allegedly.
Amazing, we saw a female lesser stag the other day, my first in the UK. I've seen them before in Bulgaria when I visited my late dad. I have a couple of Bandai premium gacha models of stag beetles, they're life size!
First time with my tablet in a long time, figured I would paint something I know well (I love bugs, a lot a lot)
It is Disability Pride Month! This year, disability pride for me is: 1. Accepting my disabilities and how they fluctuate. 2. Accepting myself because of and despite disability. 3. Trying to be rebelliously positive and joyful in the face of widespread normalised ableism.
The house sparrows in our back garden are adorable. Loud af but lovely to be around. Lots of fledgling adults to get super bold around the feeder.

Tis the season for me to be at things, speaking, offering unsolicited advice and being the lovable nuisance I am. If you want to catch me at these events, please do drop a message, I will be running about like a blue-arsed fly 🪰

He is unhappy with the storm because it means he can't doze on top of the neighbours shed.
After months of not wanting to be upstairs, Pumpkin woke me at 3am to have cuddles and sleep next to me. He knows Dan is away for a week and is looking after me 😭
Seeing baby moorhens has made my day better, so thus shall it improve yours 😊
I am mentoring this year for @limitbreak.co.uk - specifically in game accessibility, and only one mentee. Ideal if you're wanting to move from freelancing consulting into a full time role and learning those all important "how does accessibility actually work in a real dev situation" skills.
I'm going to be so busy this weekend... *Rubbing hands together with glee like a fly*
Found my old portfolio from when I used to do Blender lessons 1-1 to Second Lifers and the testimonials have me emotional. These are some from around 2014 ish - I taught more than 120 people. I have censored my Second Life username cause no one needs to see that now hah
Goodbye George Stanley, you were the best thing to happen to me. You crawled up my legs at 10 weeks old and into my heart. I will miss you for the rest of my days.
Pumpkin is enjoying my heat pad and purring while falling into deep "race to get the mice" sleep where he kicks the shit out of me 🤣
People downplay the impact a beloved pet has upon a person but the impact George has had on me goes beyond the bond of a pet and owner. Thank you George Stanley. I love you so much ❤️
My little best bud, my furry son has finally reached the end stage of his 15 year old life. His care is now palliative as his human grandparents help him live out the rest of his time comfortably. It has been the greatest honor of my life and a privilege to be loved by George and to care for him.
