This bill is doing even better; during work after leaving committee, they REMOVED the killswitch that had been added to the bill. It goes to floor vote TOMORROW!

SB 2471 is resting... Citizens United is almost irrelevant in Hawaii!
Floor Amendments Passed! - Big win here! The House and Senate both voted to strip out the attorney-general killswitch on Wednesday. Makes the bill much sturdier!
Resting for 48 hours - The bill is now resting for 48 hours before the final vote
Final vote tomorrow! - Final votes in both the House and Senate are scheduled for Friday, May 8.

SB 2471 is a great bill that will get dark and corporate money out of Hawaii's politics. Let's get it across the finish line!

After jostling a few things around and cleaning up a LOT of gecko poop, the NUC is now in the rack and powered on. Able to SSH in without issue, and working on getting AdGuard Home set up!

A small server rack. A 1U power strip is on the top with various power plugs connected to it. Under that is a 1U 24 port TP-Link gigabit switch and 1U patch panel with network cables connected between them. In the empty space below that from left to right are a fiber optic converter, a small Intel NUC computer with a Raspberry Pi 4 resting on top of it, and a Synology 5 bay NAS with a backup drive resting on top of it.

Here’s a peek at my game storage for a random game Saturday.
