Republicans are traitor trash, but Democrats are still working hard to try to lose the midterms. WHY are Congressional Democrats giving veterans even MORE taxpayer money when HEAVILY taxpayer-subsidized Medicare & Social Security, with 70 MILLION recipients, face insolvency?
Chris Deluzio is once again standing up for Big Labor that is doing NOTHING for younger Americans. Minimum wage is still $7.25 an hour. I'd be OK with the GOP in Congress rolling back this EGREGIOUS private pension bailout, given to union members who consistently vote GOP, mostly because of guns.
Why are veterans who OFTEN aren't disabled, like these two taxpayer-paid RNs, getting taxpayer-paid VA Disability, which is often used to pay for sex tourism?
America is a whopping $39 TRILLION in debt. The best time to cut the bloated $440 BILLION-a-year VA that serves a mere 2.8% of the U.S. population and awards VA Disability for often-SKETCHY 'disabilities', was 40 years ago. The second-best time is today.
I don't need MORE reason to oppose giving absurdly generous sums to veterans. Maybe YOU know: How is sexually transmitted Herpes Simplex 2 a service-connected disability, warranting a 60% VA Disability rating?
Good thing that veterans, who continue to get often-absurdly generous taxpayer-paid benefits, including VA Disability that's OFTEN awarded for SKETCHY 'disabilities', voted 2:1 for Donald Trump and Congressional Republicans in 2024.
David Brouillette should have been in a mental institution, not signed by the U.S. military and getting taxpayer-paid VA Disability. He was a sociopath even BEFORE he joined the U.S. war machine.
Big Labor has become greedy and self-serving, with no regard for the concerns of younger workers, and is heavily supported by the Democratic politicians that they fund. I would be OK with the GOP rolling back Democrats' EGREGIOUS private pension bailout:
Why is ICE hiring murderous, mentally ill VETERANS like Jonathan Ross & David Brouillette, who are getting VA Disability because they're sociopaths? Vets who are THAT unstable should be institutionalized, not killing taxpayers who fund your & their veteran swag. www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news...
Maybe America shouldn't spend almost $1 TRILLION a year funding the WORLD'S biggest military budget. In peacetime.
"Homeless future taxpayers freezing to death on America's streets don't matter, just as long as my VA Disability checks keep coming." Right?
There isn't a WORD in the DD4 about active- or post-service benefits. It does say that Congress makes the rules and can change them at any time.
How do I know no vets died waiting to be approved for VA Disability in the last 10 years? Because I researched this issue. I don't really have to 'make my case' for VA Disability reforms. Project 2025 details projected cuts to VA Disability, which are essential when we're $38 TRILLION in debt.
Pete Hegseth is a drunk and rapist and all-around dirtbag, but he's right that veterans are getting unnecessary disability benefits:
We need to talk about this veteran who isn't smart or savvy enough to get the medication he wants, including paying out of pocket, so he's making artwork out of the taxpayer-paid Rx that he gets from the VA:
"The bulk of my [VA Disability] rating comes from an autoimmune condition that I probably would have developed whether I was in the military or not..." So his condition is in no way service-connected, but he's getting VERY generous, taxpayer-paid VA Disability for it. Make it make sense.
This is my current favorite example of grifting vets. This guy not only went AWOL but was also loansharking AND stealing from other servicemembers. He said PTSD made him do it (🤣), got his OTH discharge reversed, got a 70% VA Disability rating -- and wants MORE of my money!
HOW is a 30-year-old vet who's so "disabled" that he can't work and is getting both VA Disability *and* SSDI, mentally and physically able to move to another country where he can fish and hike -- the latter a strenuous activity?
"We're 22 and 26 years old, both inexplicably awarded 100% VA Disability...and we're BOOOOOOORED. "When will this hell end?"
Americans shouldn't have to sign up to kill brown people in countries around the world just to get healthcare and needed social assistance. I don't want to fund lifetime, tax-free VA Disability for conditions that aren't disabling, which are most conditions for which the VA awards disability.
We need to talk about the CONSIDERABLE number of veterans who claim their smoking-related medical conditions under the PACT ACT. This vet gets 100% VA Disability for his smoking-related COPD & emphysema because he's a grifter and the VA is corrupt.
"When I was in the military, I injured my knee playing basketball. I receive disability compensation from the VA because it happened during my time in service." Seriously...WTF? An estimated 1.6 million basketball-related injuries of all types occur each year in the U.S.
I, too, have a cyst on my ass that can be removed in a half hour doctor visit. Who do I talk to about getting tax-free, lifetime government disability for it, even AFTER the cyst is removed -- like this veteran applying for VA Disability for HIS cyst?
"I never deployed. I served less than my initial contract. I'm still entitled to my P&T." This obnoxious yutz gets $6,000 a month in VA Disability *and* SSDI *and* free healthcare because a military recruiter enlisted a mentally ill guy to make his quota:
"My ex gf got 100% [VA Disability]...for being bipolar. Never did any tours or anything no injuries no traumatic experiences. She was just a crazy bitch who couldn't handle the navy telling her what do to." 5.7 MILLION adult Americans have BD; most don't get a DIME from the gov't.
1. Veterans need to stop being rude to taxpayers like me who FUND veteran benefits. 2. The VA awards often-absurdly generous VA Disability for conditions that aren't disabling. Millions of Americans have the SAME medical conditions as those that affect vets; they get NOTHING from the government.
We should have increased taxes on billionaires years ago. That doesn't mean veterans should get even MORE money, though. We can make sure future U.S. taxpayers don't freeze to death in the van they're living in:
Is that person supposed to represent a veteran? We spend more than enough on veterans. The $400 BILLION-a-year VA, which awards often-absurdly generous VA Disability for conditions that aren't disabling, serves a mere 2% of the US population.
