Some of favourite places - the ones we return to time and again. The Lavaux Vineyards by Lac Léman. This is the village of St Saphorin, looking east towards Montreux.
Looking southwest from Suvretta towards Silvaplana in Switzerland's Upper Engadine region. Near St Moritz. Gorgeous area for summer hikes and winter sports.

The places of hidden europe - Nusfjord's small harbour, where the landed cod is dried in the moist and salty air. Nusfjord is no ordinary village. It is one of the oldest and best preserved of the fiskevær (fishing stations) in the Lofoten Islands…
One has to admire the simplicity of this Czech approach to breakfast: sázená vejce - fried eggs. Served here with grated Moravian cheese.
Stolpe is one of two historic villages in Insel Wannsee - the other is Klein Glienecke. A little haven of rurality which is part of Berlin.
