My kid found this gem of a t-shirt for me today. It has a bottle-opener attached to it. I can’t wait to wear this to visit my aged parental units at the end of the month…

Here there be tree. I’ve struggled to feel festive for a few years now. I miss that feeling. This is me, decorating to the extent of my festiveness. Not bad, methinks.

This is Gromit. Because cheese. I was sideswiped. The kitten was in my hands before I knew what was happening. Clearly I’m really angry about it. How very dare. The nerve. But… That face… Welcome Gromit. A small nugget of sunshine for my heart.
My opinionated cat passed away Thursday from acute kidney failure. In my melancholy I am posting old photos, as appropriate. My lion.
I love taking the ferry no matter what time of day, but it’s particularly peaceful at night. Something about the dark water and distant shore makes all the noise drop away
Just melt the butter, toss it all in the blender, and pour into a pie pan. That’s really all there is to it!
