Name a TV show you’re positive no one remembers but you. Willo the Wisp, a BBC production that must’ve played on CBC. For thr longest time I thought I’d hallucinated its existence.

I’m biased but the cats in Izmir are the best 😻🥰

Finally got my appendectomy last night thanks to my nurse’s persistence. I’m so grateful for him!! Sad juice, coffee, and jello for breakfast but at least it was something😅

Uh-oh, guys, I might have some bad news about the Easter Bunny…

Growing up, the Goldstream and Sooke rivers. Currently, the mighty Fraser River.

Between the river and its channel, an island with some pastures and a pink/red cranberry bog can be seen. There is an urban area on one bank and an agricultural or industrial area on the other. My Pepper will be there to meet @charliebrowntc.bsky.social ☺️ She lived to 21, leaving us in 2018. She had a weakness for peanut butter and Christmas ribbons. She was super smart and loving and I will miss her forever 😿

I finally have a pet to contribute this week! Meet Mickey, a very skittish gentleman I had the pleasure of cat sitting for a few days. Apparently the fact that he sat near me was a pretty big step for him. I’ll count that as a win! 🙌🐈🐾

An Open Letter to President Donald J. Trump and the United States Government
From the Sovereign Authority of Heard Island

Dear Mr. President and Esteemed Members of the United States Government,

It has come to our attention, via what we assume must have been a clerical error—or perhaps an overzealous intern armed with a dartboard-that the United States has imposed a 10% tariff on goods from Heard Island. Given that Heard Island is an uninhabited, windswept rock in the middle of the Southern Ocean, home only to glaciers, penguins, and the occasional confused seabird, we must express both our profound confusion and begrudging admiration at your commitment to economic policy.
We are eager to comply with all international trade regulations, though we must admit we are at a bit of a loss as to what precisely you intend to tax. Our chief exports include:
* Penguin chatter, which, while priceless, is difficult to monetize.
* Glacial ice, which may become a hot commodity, though we were under the [continued next photo]

We also promise not to overcharge your scientists for the privilege of watching our penguins waddle about, though we must warn you, they refuse to work for free.
