Yesterday evening, the pink, orange light around the pier as the sun came down was really striking.

Daughter always comments on how her dad says ‘castle’, ‘grass’ etc. She bought him this T-shirt for Father’s Day. He’s pleased with it, but now I feel like he’s trying to out-Burnham Andy B!
The Scissor Sisters at a very small venue in Brighton were just as fabulous as you would expect them to be.
Today, a trip to Chichester, to the Novium museum. We went to the Elmer and Friends exhibition.

It was fantastic to speak today to 200 PGCE students at University of Sussex. I was part of a workshop which focused on the value of good and meaningful co-production between schools and families.
Today, we went for a brisk Boxing Day walk. The seafront was very busy, as obviously many people had the same idea.
I post something like this most Decembers, but the current climate makes me think about it even more. As a child, in the weeks leading up to Christmas, my dad would take us to the old cemetery in town. We would lay a wreath on the grave of his grandparents, who he had never met. 1/
