Concept art for the Japan pavilion at Epcot with the Mt. Fuji coaster concept. . This coaster concept was supposedly scrapped after one of Epcot’s sponsors, Kodak,opposed to having Mt. Fuji in the park as they were afraid it it would remind guests of their competitor, Fuji Film.

A rare behind the scenes look at the filming of Muppet*Vision 3D for Disney-MGM Studios. In this photograph we see Jim Henson himself puppeteering one of the characters for the finale scene of the film just behind Sam Eagle.

Unbuilt Walt Disney World: The Persian Resort would have sat on the shores of Bay Lake just to the north of the Contemporary Resort. The focus of the resort would have been a 24-foot dome at the center. This project was canceled due to the 1973 oil strike and Iranian Revolution.

The Millennium Balloon soaring high over Epcot in this photograph to help bring in the Millennium Celebration to the Walt Disney World Resort. The “2000” would later be replaced to say “Epcot” to align with the wand on Spaceship Earth.

The Enchanted Tiki Room: Under New Management was an updated version of Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room which featured Iago and Zazu from Aladdin and the Lion King. It closed in 2011 after a brief intervention by the tiki gods

“Lights, Motors... Action! Stunt Show Spectacular” was a stunt show performed at Disney’s Hollywood Studios from 2005-2016. The show originated from Walt Disney Studios and was “gifted” to the then Disney-MGM Studios as a part of the Happiest Celebration on Earth.

Luigi’s Flying Tires as seen at Cars Land in Disney’s California Adventure. This short lived attraction was based off of Disneyland’s Flying Saucers attraction of the 1960s and was replaced by Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters

In this picture we see Mickey Mouse and the SpectroMen performing in the classic night-time parade, SepctroMagic at the Magic Kingdom. SpectroMagic ran from 1991 until 2010 when it was replaced by the revival of the Main Street Electrical Parade.

Captain EO Tribute, Disneyland (2010-2014) In a rare move following Michael Jackson’s death in 2009, Captain EO returned as a tribute at Disneyland, Epcot, Disneyland Paris, and Tokyo Disneyland over the following years. It was replaced by a variety of shows at each park.

View of Cinderella Castle with the Rose Garden in the foreground at the Magic Kingdom. The Rose Garden was lost during the hub expansion during the mid 2010s. To me, this was quite the loss as it was always a nice area to disconnect from the park and just take in the area.

In this photo we take a look at the model for Sea Castle which was one of the finales that you could choose for the classic Epcot attraction, Horizons. At the time of filming, these were some of the largest models ever produced and had to be filmed in an airport hanger.

Shrunken Ned’s Junior Jungle Boats, Adventureland , Magic Kingdom Opened in 1997, this remote controlled game let you control a miniature Jungle Cruise boat and sail through a number of obstacles. The game was closed in 2012.
