Ha I forgot about the stage play. So Aoi no Ue is the first Noh play from the Tale of Genji. She was the wife of Genji but was possessed by his jealous lover, Lady Rokujo. The white mask is similar to Shion, possibly fortifying my tinfoil…or maybe there’s more to Genji’s story.
The kite flying was also cool. They made some special paper kites for the event. Took a month to make each.
As for Shakespeare, the title Fall of a Sparrow reminds me of Hamlet…actually when adding in the new map, this is very Hamlet influenced lore and I’m guessing even more that Noriko is in the Hashimoto compound. Will this tie in to a larger plan by Chernobog? Gotta go look at Sombra’s chart… 👀
