Image text: Hatians in Ohio are a part of our communities. These are families that overcame enormous adversity, built lives here, filled essential jobs, opened businesses, raised children and contributed to our shared economy.

When families lose legal status, work authorization, income, and stability, the harm ripples through workplaces, classrooms, churches, and local economies.

When fear enters a household, it walks into the classroom the next morning through absences, anxiety, and kids worried about whether a parent will be there when they return home from school.

Our shared responsibility is to ensure every child is safe, supported, and able to learn, regardless of what is happening in Washington or the courts.
